Bookings Policy

Unfortunately due to problems in the past we have had to implement certain conditions on large bookings.

The conditions are as follows:

*There is only one account/bill per table and it is requested that you advise your guests of this. The account is however itemised for easy reference. If any of your guests leave prior to the account being paid in full the remaining guests will be responsible for covering the full cost of the account/bill regardless of which guests ate or drank which items.

*We can only guarantee seats for the number of people that you book for. If you have extras that wish to attend please advise us beforehand to ensure there is a seat available for them.

*A deposit of $15 per person is required to be paid no later than the day before your booking in order for it to be confirmed.

*This deposit will come off the cost of your bill if all of the people booked arrive on the night. For example if you book for 20 people and all 20 arrive and dine and the bill is $400 the deposit of $300 already paid will be deducted and you will only need to pay the remaining $100 on the night.

*If the numbers of your booking change and you ring no later than 4.00pm on the day of your booking to advise us of the change you will not lose any of your deposit.

* If the numbers change and you advise us after 4.00pm on the day of the booking or do not advise us at all (i.e. some or none of the people show up) you will lose $15 per person for every person that does not show up and dine. For example if you book for 20 and only 10 show up and dine you will lose $150 of your deposit. If you book for 20 and no one shows up and dines then you will lose all of your deposit.

*Maria's is now licensed and whilst we do allow BYO wine we do not allow customers to bring in beer or spirits nor do we allow eskies/coolers or cartons of alcohol to be brought to the premises and we request that you advise your guests accordingly.

* A condition of our liquor license is that a meal must be consumed so if you have any guests who may just want to come for a drink it is a legal requirement that they consume a meal (if drinking alcohol) whilst they are in the restaurant and we request that you advise them accordingly.
