Maria's has always been a very busy restaurant however as we have become even more so we have had to make some changes to how we manage large group bookings which are reflected below.

FAQ

How many people can you do?

Maria's can do bookings of up to 55 people however with very large groups between 20-55 people certain conditions may apply such as a minimum spend, set menu, no BYO wine and/or a set booking time (see below).

Can I book out the whole restaurant?

Yes. If you wanted to book out the restaurant during our normal trading hours you would need to spend a minimum amount of around $3000 (can be made up of a combination of food or drink) for peak periods (Friday, Saturday nights, school holidays, local events etc) less for non-peak periods.

What alternatives are available?

• Depending on the size of your group and the timing of your event we may also be able to open the restaurant for a lunch function especially for your group in this case you would not need to spend the minimum amount as mentioned above but you would have to have a set menu with an alternate drop and no BYO alcohol would be permitted at all.

What about groups under 25 people?

For groups over 10 people and under 20 people the bookings policy (including deposit) applies, and depending on the date there may be some restrictions on available booking times.
